As a professor at the Institute of Mathematics, she is also President of the Digitization Commission of the University of Bern. Christiane Tretter is “Founding Chair of the Bern Data Science Initiative” and conducts research on differential operators, spectral theory and mathematical physics. As a proven specialist in applied analysis, she makes valuable contributions to important questions such as “How can we shape digital change and defend our values?”
